STAR 1,2  Must have passed at least Stage 4 CanSkate, have figure skates and have hired a coach. (If skater is working on Stage 5, s/he must wear a CSA approved helmet).

STAR 3,4,5  Must have passed COMPLETE STAR 3 Freeskate test (both Program & Elements).

STAR 6+   Must have passed COMPLETE STAR 6 Freeskate test (both Program & Elements).

Academy Training Must qualify for Pre-Summer Academy the following must be met:

Skaters must be actively competing in Freeskate during the regular season at these levels to be eligible and must skate a minimum of session(s) to qualify for Academy: See options available below to qualify.

STAR 1-2 option:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                1-day regular plus 1 day Academy (must skate 2 days minimum)                                                                                                                                                                                              STAR 3-4 options:
2 days regular session plus 1 day Academy Or 1-day regular session plus 2 days Academy (must skate 3 days minimum)
Star 5 & up options:
3 days regular session plus 1 day Academy Or 2 days regular session plus 2 days Academy (must skate 4 days minimum)
