STARSkate Refund Policies

• For the regular season (September through April), refunds will not be granted after the 1st session, unless a written request for refund is submitted to the Glen Cairn Skating Club for medical reasons and is accompanied by a valid medical certificate (e.g. Doctor's note).
• All refunds will be pro-rated up to the date of notification and will be subject to a $25 administration fee.
• Refunds will take the form of a credit to the skater's account, unless the skater is not expected to return.
• The Skate Canada fee and the Club fee are non-refundable.
• The volunteer fee will only be refunded if the volunteer requirement of 10 hours is fulfilled in entirety. This can be accomplished through voluntary involvement with the Club's board, its activities or playing music during skating sessions. Refunds of the volunteer fee will be made in the same method as the original payment.
• No refunds will be issued for Pre-Summer, Summer, Seminars or Camps, unless a written request is submitted for medical reasons accompanied by a doctor's note.
• No session switches or make-up sessions are permitted, absence due to illness, appointments or vacation notwithstanding.
