2022-2023 CanPowerSkate

 

Skaters must have at least one year of hockey or ringette experience to join the CanPowerSkate program. (See full requirements.)

 

For skaters who have attended CanPowerSkate in the past, and achieved an average of Moderate or higher in all three Control, Balance and Agility categories, they should sign up for the Advanced (Gold) session this year. All other skaters, or skaters new to CanPowerSkate should sign up for the Bronze/Silver (5pm) session to start. Skaters may need to be moved based on coaches' evaluation of their skating skills (emphasis on backward skating, one foot edges and forward/backward crossovers).
